Crayon Pouch Instructions

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, we have access to lots of places for business and creative inspiration. Stampin' Up! puts out a monthly magazine called Stampin' Success for their demonstrators. It is chalk full of business tools and stamping ideas. If you have any questions about becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and joining my team, please feel free to email me using the button on the left.
Here is a project from our August issue of Stampin' Success. It is a super cute and mega easy project. The card base is 4x12 - which means you can get 3 of these from one sheet of 12x12 cardstock. That card base is scored at 5", 10", 10 1/4", and 11 1/2".
The rest of the card is pretty simple to put together. I used the new Build A Bear stamp set call Beary Best Friends because it looks great as a card for kids. I stamped that using my Stamp A Ma Jig and Stazon Black ink. There is a strip of Pawsitively Prints DSP on the bottom and a strips of Ballet Blue across the top with the Scallop Edge punch.
You really should give this card a try. It really is very easy, and the things to insert on the inside are quite endless: tea bag, crayons, gum, small bags of candy...

Supplies
  • Stamps: Beary Best Friends, Things I Like
  • Ink: Stazon Black, Gable Green
  • Paper: Gable Green, Ballet Blue, Whisper White, Pawsitively Prints DSP
  • Accessories: brads, 1/16" punch, So Saffron ribbon, Scallop Edge punch, Stamp a ma jig

Very cute project! Especially fitting since my little guy has his first day of first grade today!

Absolutely adorable!

I hope you don't mind if I CASE this idea ... it would be a fantastic goodie bag item for a birthday party.

Go for it. It was actually SU's idea. Just a little tip: I didn't even glue that little flap on the inside down. I just added the brads, and the flap stayed down nicely.
